Beloved Husband, Father, Brother, and Grandfather, 91

  

Mr. Ottone Carchia, 91, of Belleville, NJ, passed away on Sunday, April 3, 2022 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Visitation will be on Friday, April 8 at the Biondi Funeral Home, 540 Franklin Avenue, Nutley from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The funeral will be conducted from the funeral home on Saturday, April 9 at 8:30 a.m. There will be a funeral mass celebrated at Holy Family Church, 28 Brookline Avenue, Nutley at 9:30 a.m. The entombment will be at Glendale Chapel Mausoleum, 28 Hoover Avenue, Bloomfield.

  

Otto Carchia was born and raised in Italy before immigrating to Newark, NJ. He then moved to Belleville where he raised his loving family.  He was a self employed machinist. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends who he loved dearly.

  

He is survived by his beloved wife Francesca (nee Bonavita) Carchia; his loving children Claudio Carchia and his wife Michele and Maria Cervino and her husband Robert; his dear brother Carlo Carchia; his cherished grandchildren Stephanie, Chaz, Claudio, Steven, and Luke. He is also survived by his many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

 

 Mr. Carchia is predeceased by his parents Oto and Carmella (nee Formata) Carchia; his 5 brothers, and his 3 sisters.
