Joan E. Kimball, 89, of Wolfeboro, NH passed away Thursday March 24, 2022 at Huggins Hospital, Wolfeboro, NH. 

Joan was born June 20, 1932 in Rochester, NH the daughter of the late Newell and Edith (Brown) Bickford and had lived in Wolfeboro, NH for most of her life. 

She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Wolfeboro Falls, NH; a member of the Winnipesaukee Chapter, daughters of the American Revolution; an Honorary Life Member of the Wolfeboro Historical Society; a member of the Wolfeboro Senior Citizens; Eastern Slopes Camp Gideon’s Auxiliary; Harriman Hale American Legion Auxiliary Post #18 and a member of the Tuftonboro Grange #142. 

She was predeceased by her husband Gordon S. Kimball, a daughter Melony A. Osgood.  She is also predeceased by her siblings, Newell H. Bickford Jr., Alfred L Bickford and Nancy J Green. 

Joan is survived by her children, Corlis J. Chamberlain, Wolfeboro, NH; Barry G. Kimball Sr., Wolfeboro, NH; Gregg D. Kimball, Quinton, VA and Amy J. Kimball, Wolfeboro, NH.  She also leaves her grandchildren Christiana, Christian and Jessica Chamberlain, Barry Kimball Jr., Katherine and Savanna Kimball. Elizabeth, Nathanial and Virginia Kimball and Sara and Asa Osgood. Her sister Judith Hersey.

There will be no calling hours.  Graveside services will be held in the Grant Hill Cemetery, Center Ossipee, NH at a later date.
