Dennis J. Diller passed away on March 27, 2022 at the age of 72 in the comfort of his childhood home. He went to Central Regional High school and then served in the Army from 1969 to 1975. Dennis was a lifelong Bayville resident who worked in the Asphalt industry and then at Bayville Manor prior to retiring. He was an honorable man who cared for those he loved and always stood for what was right.

As a lifelong Bayville resident, he leaves behind a community filled with family and friends who will dearly miss him. His passions in life came from his eye for collecting things that others didn’t find value in. In his early years Dennis was known for always smiling, joking around and always doing what was right. In his later years he was known for his dedication and the care of his mother Doris Diller.

Den was known by friends and family as a caring son, father, brother, uncle, friend and neighbor. Everyone will miss his tell it like it is way and his life long ability to make others laugh. Family will always remember his collectors eye for things that held beauty and value to him.

He leaves behind his daughter Elizabeth Fisher and her husband Brian, his stepchildren Kevin Lowe, Laura Hoffman and grandchildren Jalen, Logan, and Calvin.

His daughter’s fondest memories of her father include shopping for Precious Moment figures for Nana, his endless love of Joan, Woodstock 94, exploring at Cedar Creek, canoe trips, scary boat rides on the Bay, horseshoes, crabbing, chats about his cooking, discussing Layla and his gifts to her, wild crazy summer fun, Christmas family times and taking him home from Friendly’s and the Cowboy.

He is predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Doris Diller of Bayville. He is survived by sisters, Karen Kennedy, Deborah Cleary and Patricia Siddons. Dennis has numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews as well as his extended family.
