Karen Lea Byington

December 11, 1942 – April 2, 2022

Karen Lea Byington passed away unexpectedly Saturday, April 2nd after complications from a brief battle with cancer.

Karen Lea is survived by her husband of 59 years, Robert L. Byington and their four children, Robert Jr., Michael (Denise), Tina Marie (Alex) and Daniel (Pam). Karen Lea loved spending time with her six grandchildren, Samantha, Jeremy, Nicole, Taylor, Kelsey and Casey Lynn, and her great-grandchild, Monica.

In addition to spending time with her family, Karen Lea enjoyed traveling, sports, including bowling and softball, and collecting Hallmark ornaments. She was a member of the ASL Red Hatters, Hallmark Keepsake Ornament Club and Our Savior Deaf Lutheran Church.

A private service was held with her family. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Karen Lea’s honor to Our Savior Deaf Lutheran Church.
