Kelly Beth Gosman Obituary

Kelly Beth Gosman

Wife, mother and grandmother, passed away April 1, 2022 at the age of 54.

Kelly was born to Sam and Margaret (Branning) Gann on February 23, 1968.  She was a lifelong resident of the Indianapolis area. Kelly graduated from North Central High School in 1986. A devoted Christian, she was a member of Evanston Wesleyan Church.

Kelly met the love of her life, Carl, while employed at Kittle’s Home Furnishings. They married on May 24, 1992. Together they raised five wonderful children.

Kelly worked for Key Benefit Administrators in Indianapolis for 19 years, where her commitment to excellence and hard work allowed for her to become a successful member of the company. Most recently, Kelly was employed by Tokio Marine as a claims specialist and a transplant coordinator.

In addition to her children, Kelly provided maternal care to those in need of a mother. She was a fierce and dedicated friend to all. As a member of Evanston Wesleyan Church, she showed her devotion to God through service to the community and commitment to her church.

A known organizer, Kelly did not miss an opportunity to help put together or participate in any celebrations or events, known for her bonfires and baby showers. Her love of scrapbooking and crafts was evident in her creation of personalized greeting cards and yearly Christmas cards. A lover of travel, Florida was one of her favorite destinations, specifically the warm sandy beaches of Key West, and the fun and magic of Disney World.

Kelly loved her family and would have given anything to have more time on this earth with them. She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Carl E. Gosman; and their five children, Kyle A. Gosman (Amber Kikendall), Kayleigh E. Gosman, Karla J. Grendell, Kristine G. Gosman and Caleb A. Gosman (Christina). Kelly was a loving grandmother to nine grandchildren who will miss her dearly. Kelly is also survived by her mother, Margaret Gann; and sisters, Mariann Hunnicutt and Whitney Crush.

Kelly was preceded in death by her father, Samuel Gann; and brother, Paul Gann.

A Celebration of life service will be held at Evanston Wesleyan Church, 6848 Evanston Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46220 on Saturday, April 23rd at 12 P.M. followed by Visitation/Open House from 1:30 to 5 PM.
