Michael L. Hanson

<p>Michael L. Hanson, age 79, of Sheboygan, passed away on April 3, 2022, at St. Nicholas Hospital.</p> <p>He was born in Colfax on September 13, 1942, to the late Victor and Alvida (Ludvigson) Hanson.&nbsp; Mike proudly served his country in the United States Army, being honored with a purple heart while in the Vietnam War.&nbsp; Mike was employed at Kohler Company for almost 13 years.&nbsp; Mike married Vicki Mentink and together they had four children, Jon, Jason, Jamie and Stacey.&nbsp; Mike married Pamela Everson in Sheboygan.</p> <p>Mike loved to watch wrestling and working in the yard when able.</p> <p>He is survived by his wife, Pamela; children, Tony (Kathleen) Lane, Jon (Vanessa) Hanson, Jason (Casey Grulkowski) Hanson, Jamie (Brian) Pool and Stacey (Todd) Thuemmler; grandchildren, Jacob, Parker and Morgan; siblings, Virginia, Victoria, Anne, Lue and David; nieces, nephews, other family and friends.</p> <p>Along with his parents, Mike was preceded in death by his siblings, Gale, Gerald, Gene, Betty and Virgil.</p> <p>A time of visitation for Mike will be held on Friday, April 8, 2022, from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Zimmer Westview Funeral and Cremation Care Center, W2132 Garton Rd in Sheboygan.&nbsp; A service and military honors will be held on Friday, April 8, 2022, at 2:15 PM at Greenlawn Memorial Park.</p> <p>In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Mike&rsquo;s name.</p> <p>Mike&rsquo;s family would like to thank the staff in the ICU at St. Nicholas Hospital and all the other caring nurses who have helped Mike along the way.</p>

Michael L. Hanson, age 79, of Sheboygan, passed away on April 3, 2022, at St. Nicholas Hospital.
