Carolyn S. Hunter,

76, of Indianapolis, passed away March 30, 2022. She was born in Logansport, Indiana on January 16, 1946. She attended school in Pearland TX from 1952-1963. Moving to Indiana graduating Arsenal Technical high school in 1965. Carolyn spent her career working at Fort Harrison in accounts payable.

She was continually ready for a trip to Walmart.

She looked forward to her games of bingo, coloring books and tri-chem wanting to create pictures.

 Carolyn is survived by her daughter, Catherine (Robert) Dicks; grandson, Matthew (Kristina) Clay great-granddaughters, Zoey, Miranda, and Lettie; step-grandsons, Jacob and David (Ryanne); great-granddaughter, Gwenyth; siblings, James (Kathleen) Ray and Michael Ray; and best friend, Doug Frazier.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Ray; daughter, Sally; aunt, Betty Wiles; and siblings, Snookie Heidelberger, Thomas Ray and kitty Panic.

Services will be held privately. Memorial contributions may be made to the Native American Fund.
