Obituary

(nee Eggert) Judi E. Troiano, age 79 of Mt. Royal, NJ, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on April 1, 2022. Beloved wife of Nicholas H. Troiano. Loving mother of Nicole (Lou) Tranchitella and Nicholas D. (Jaime) Troiano. Dear grandmother of Marisa, Louie, Gia, Nicholas, Kaitlyn and Matthew.  Cherished sister of Gail (William) Caputi.  Also surviving are her nieces, nephews and cousins.

Judi grew up in Cinnaminson, NJ, graduated from Merchantville High School in 1959 and received her college degree from Camden County College in 1988.  She met her beloved husband Nick, and they married in 1965.  Judi and Nick raised their two children, Nicole and Nicky, in Cherry Hill, NJ where they lived for over 40 years and then relocated to Mt. Royal, NJ.  Judi worked full time as a bookkeeper throughout her life for a variety of businesses in South Jersey. In addition to her career, Judi was very active in the community, the schools, and the church yet was always present at her children’s various activities.

Judi loved listening to Frank Sinatra, reading the latest romance novels, sitting on the beach in Sea Isle City, NJ, and rooting for her Philadelphia Eagles, but her biggest love was being with her family – especially her six grandchildren.

Relatives and friends of the family will meet for her viewing and funeral services on Wednesday morning from 9:30am to 11:00am at the BOCCO FUNERAL HOME, 1300 North Kings Hwy., Cherry Hill, NJ 08034.  Funeral Services will be celebrated 11:00am Wednesday in the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations in Judi’s memory to the Tara Miller Melanoma Center at the Abramson Cancer Center, 3535 Market St., Suite 750, Philadelphia, PA 19104, www.pennmedicine.org/giving/TMMC. Judi was blessed to have amazing medical care during her treatments including Dr Lynn Schuchter of Penn Medicine.  Her wish was to help support Dr. Schuchter’s efforts in finding a cure for melanoma.
