Obituary

Cynthia Diane Smith, 63, passed away at home on March 31, 2022. She was the daughter of Carl and Maxine Lee.

Cindy loved her three sons. Her eldest, Russell was a sweet easy going young man. She was very proud of Brandon, her middle son, and his recent move to Texas to start a new job. But nothing made her happier than the arrival of her grandson 7 years ago. He stole her heart. Cindy enjoyed accompanying Dillon her youngest to the special needs programs including Sonshine Club, Miracle League, the YMCA Rise program and Charles Lea activities in Chesnee. They became very close and some might say “joined at the hip”.

The last 2 and ½ years Cindy and Dillon shared many special times while living with grandmaw. Sweet memories that will last forever. They face-timed with big brother Brandon and grandson Brandon in Texas every chance they had.

Cindy shared her testimony to many hoping to connect with those struggling with addiction.  She had a big heart and showed concern for others. Over the last 2 plus years she truly found her purpose in life as a mother, daughter, and sister. She was loved unconditionally and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Her memory will always live in our hearts, for nothing loved is ever lost.

Cynthia is survived by her sons, Brandon Lee Smith and Dillon Scott Smith; sisters, Vicki Arnold and Krista Lee; and a grandson, Brandon Kenneth Smith.

She was predeceased by a son, Russell Lee Baldwin.

A memorial service will be held at Bobo Funeral Chapel on April 5, 2022 at 11:00 AM, conducted by Rev. Brian Harris. Online condolences for the family may be left at www.bobofuneralchapel.com.
