<div class="embed-responsive embed-responsive-16by9"><iframe class="embed-responsive-item" src="https://portal.memoryshare.com/memoryshare/videoplayer/jeanmcaninch-padgett-8119622" scrolling="no" frameborder="0" webkitallowfullscreen mozallowfullscreen allowfullscreen> </iframe></div> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>On Friday, April 1, 2022, Jean (McAninch) Padgett, was healed as Jesus quietly took her from her scarred, weary body and made her brand new.&nbsp; She was surrounded by her family as she raised up from this earthly life into her eternal life to be with her Lord and Savior and reunited with loved ones who had gone before her.</p> <p>Jean was born Saturday, November 29, 1952, in Indianapolis, Indiana.&nbsp; On Saturday, June 5, 1971, she married Fred Padgett.&nbsp; Together, they shared 50 glorious years together.&nbsp;</p> <p>Jean leaves behind two children, Janica (Larry) Carrier of Waynesburg, KY, and Justin (Kasey) Padgett of Waynesburg, KY; Mam Mam to Jentry Carrier, Dalton Carrier, Hailey Padgett, Jayden Padgett, Alexis Padgett, Jase Padgett all of Waynesburg, KY; one sister, Carnetta Collins of Waynesburg, KY; special friends, Debbie Cole, Sandy Clark, and Michelle Cox; and numerous nieces and nephews, whom she cherished.&nbsp;</p> <p>Jean was preceded in death by parents, Sally (Evans) Anderson and Carnell McAninch; two sisters, Rita Slone and Judy Sims; and her mother and father-in-law, Orville &amp; Ethel Padgett, who were like parents to her.</p> <p>Jean was a Christian and a faithful member of Parlor Grove Baptist Church.&nbsp; She devoted a large portion of her life in service to her Lord and Savior.&nbsp; She served as treasurer, Sunday School teacher for many years, was always involved in Vacation Bible School, believed in the work of missions, and was active in the WMU.&nbsp; She believed in the power of prayer, read her Bible faithfully, and worshipped every time the church doors were opened.</p> <p>She was also an avid UK basketball fan.&nbsp; Go cats!</p> <p>Public Visitations will be held 6-8PM Monday, April 4, 2022, and 11AM-1PM Tuesday, April 5, 2022, at Parlor Grove Baptist Church.&nbsp;</p> <p>The Public Funeral Service will be held 1:00PM Tuesday, at the church.&nbsp; Bro. Josh Pennington &amp; Bro. Greg Lockard will officiate the service.</p> <p>Burial will follow in Parlor Grove Cemetery.&nbsp; Active Pallbearers will be Justin Padgett, Larry Carrier, Jentry Carrier, Dalton Carrier, Jayden Padgett, Jase Padgett, Brandon Collins, and Dylan Coleman.&nbsp;</p> <p>Memorial Contributions suggested to Parlor Grove Baptist Church (P.O. On Friday, April 1, 2022, Jean (McAninch) Padgett, was healed as Jesus quietly took her from her scarred, weary body and made her brand new.  She was surrounded by her family as she raised up from this earthly life into her eternal life to be with her Lord and Savior and reunited with loved ones who had gone before her.

Jean was born Saturday, November 29, 1952, in Indianapolis, Indiana.  On Saturday, June 5, 1971, she married Fred Padgett.  Together, they shared 50 glorious years together.

Public Visitations will be held 6-8PM Monday, April 4, 2022, and 11AM-1PM Tuesday, April 5, 2022, at Parlor Grove Baptist Church. 

The Public Funeral Service will be held 1:00PM Tuesday, at the church.  Bro. Josh Pennington & Bro. Greg Lockard will officiate the service.

Burial will follow in Parlor Grove Cemetery.  Active Pallbearers will be Justin Padgett, Larry Carrier, Jentry Carrier, Dalton Carrier, Jayden Padgett, Jase Padgett, Brandon Collins, and Dylan Coleman.
