Daniel C. "Dan" Coleman

<p>Daniel C. &ldquo;Dan&rdquo; Coleman, 74, of Morristown, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, March 29, 2022, at his home.&nbsp; He was a longtime and active member of Trinity United Methodist Church.&nbsp; He was on the Board of Jubilee Project Inc. in Sneedville.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;He was born in Kane, PA, was a proud graduate of Kane High School, worked as an accountant for numerous companies, and retired from BAE Systems.&nbsp; He loved building model cars, listening to music, singing in the church choir, playing with his cats, and spending time with his grandkids.&nbsp; He was preceded in death by his parents, Martin and Alice Keyser Coleman, and natural father Leonard Anderson.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>He is survived by his wife, of 45 years, Mary Ann Coleman; son, Sean (Jennifer) Coleman; grandchildren, Jasmine Cochran, Adjimah Young, Jr., Adjimah Young, II, Dorian Coleman, and Grace Coleman; brothers Tim (Ella) Anderson, Steve (Ruth) Anderson, sister Robin (Brian) Jordan; special aunt, Kay Keyser; as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews.&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>The family will receive friends from 6-7 PM, Tuesday, April 5, 2022, at Trinity United Methodist Church.&nbsp; A celebration of life service will be held at 7 PM, following the visitation, with Pastor Mike Cutshaw officiating.&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>In lieu of flowers please send donations to the Benevolent Fund of Trinity United Methodist Church or the ALS Association-Tennessee Chapter.</p>

Obituary

Daniel C. “Dan” Coleman, 74, of Morristown, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, March 29, 2022, at his home.  He was a longtime and active member of Trinity United Methodist Church.  He was on the Board of Jubilee Project Inc. in Sneedville.   He was born in Kane, PA, was a proud graduate of Kane High School, worked as an accountant for numerous companies, and retired from BAE Systems.  He loved building model cars, listening to music, singing in the church choir, playing with his cats, and spending time with his grandkids.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Martin and Alice Keyser Coleman, and natural father Leonard Anderson.  

 

He is survived by his wife, of 45 years, Mary Ann Coleman; son, Sean (Jennifer) Coleman; grandchildren, Jasmine Cochran, Adjimah Young, Jr., Adjimah Young, II, Dorian Coleman, and Grace Coleman; brothers Tim (Ella) Anderson, Steve (Ruth) Anderson, sister Robin (Brian) Jordan; special aunt, Kay Keyser; as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews. 

 

The family will receive friends from 6-7 PM, Tuesday, April 5, 2022, at Trinity United Methodist Church.  A celebration of life service will be held at 7 PM, following the visitation, with Pastor Mike Cutshaw officiating.
