<p>Anthony T. McDonnell, age 62, of Quincy passed away March 28<sup>th</sup> after a brief illness. Born in Boston, he was raised in St. Peter’s Parish of Dorchester and graduated from Sacred Heart School in Weymouth. He worked as a self-employed property owner and manager for many years. Tony was a member of the Quincy Elks, Knights of Columbus in Quincy, and he enjoyed spending time at the Quincy American Legion Morrisette Post and Sons of Italy in Quincy. He also enjoyed boating and spending time at his cottage in Wareham. </p> <p>Son of the late James and Mary McDonnell. Beloved husband of Arlene J. McDonnell (Simpson). Brother of Maureen McDonnell of Hull and James McDonnell of Breezewood, PA. Stepfather of Lea Saari of FL, Raeann Saari of Milton, and Julie Saari of Bridgewater. Uncle of Ashley McDonnell of Breezewood, PA. Great Uncle of Caroline and Great Uncle and Godfather of Liam. Visiting hours at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home 326 Granite Ave Milton Sunday from 2:00 to 5:00 pm. Funeral Mass at St. Ann Church Quincy Monday at 12:00 noon. Burial New Calvary Cemetery.
