Ricky Allen Spiers age 67, quietly passed away on Sunday, March 27, 2022 at his home in Virginia. He was born on August 4, 1954 in Delaware, Ohio to the late Bert C. Spiers and Robbie Jean (nee Callahan) Watson. Reared under the watchful and loving eye of his grandmother Ollie Ann, Rick transitioned from Hamilton schools to complete his secondary education in Cumberland City, Tennessee where he developed a lifelong fondness for the Southern life.

Rick saw the world with the Navy completing tours in the Philippines, Hawaii, and visiting many Pacific ports of call. After honorably serving his country, he became a Master Electrician and recently retired from Virginia Dominion Power.

He loved music, woodworking, was a skilled craftsman, and didn't mind rattling some pans in the kitchen. He was of substance and a person one did not forget.

There are far too many dear to his life that proceed him in death, and he leaves behind a community of tender family relationships; cousins, nieces, and nephews; and great friends.

Visitation will be on Thursday, April 7, 2022 at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio 45011 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM with the funeral to follow at 7:00 PM. Burial will be on Friday, April 8, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Greenwood Cemetery, 1602 Greenwood Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio 45011.
