Elmer Lee Carmack

<p>Elmer Lee Carmack, age 89, of Waynesburg, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2022, at his home.&nbsp; Born Tuesday, October 11, 1932, in Eubank, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Hebert &amp; Lizzie Mae Rogers Carmack.&nbsp; Elmer was the widower of the late Geraldine &ldquo;Gerry&rdquo; Privett Carmack, whom he married Friday, May 29, 1953, and preceded him in death Friday, February 19, 2021.&nbsp; Elmer was a US Navy Veteran and worked for many years at the Casket Factory in Lancaster, Kentucky.&nbsp; Elmer enjoyed piddling with small engines, especially working on lawn mowers.&nbsp; Elmer was an avid UK Basketball fan.&nbsp;</p> <p>Elmer leaves behind three nieces, Sandy Valentine (Tracy) and Leona Floyd (Danny) both of Eubank, Kentucky, and Linda Floyd (Donnie) of Waynesburg; and six other nieces and nephews.&nbsp;</p> <p>In addition to his wife and parents, Elmer was preceded in death by four brothers, Charles Carmack (Mary), Orland Carmack (Francis), Tommy Carmack, and Johnny Carmack; and four sisters, Carrie Bullock Anderson, Lucille Pike (Virgil), Alice Carmack, and infant Ruby Carmack.</p> <p>A Public Visitation will be held 1-2PM Monday, April 4, 2022, at Barnett, Demrow &amp; Friend Funeral Home.&nbsp;</p> <p>A Public Funeral Service will be held 2:00PM Monday, at the funeral home.&nbsp; Bro. Obituary
