With broken hearts, we witnessed a wonderful soul leave this world. Till we meet again. The level of respect we all have for our father, is immense and overflowing. He was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather, and was loved by friends too numerous to count, near and far. He was smart, caring, charismatic, always ready to crack a joke, and was always doing for others before himself. His work ethic was incredible, having never drawn an unemployment cheque all his life. We will always remember him leaving at 2 or 3:00 in the morning, to go on a trouble call for NB Power. Always to help others. Most times, this was in the middle of a snowstorm or really bad weather. He was an amazing and smart worker and was very dedicated. He was always working and used to say it was what he loved to do most. He and Gwen raised 3 wonderful and strong children. He loved fishing with Mom. So much. I dare say, that was their favorite thing to do together. That is where they are now, we are all sure of that in our hearts. He did everything for her. It is beautiful for us to think of their reunion last night. It must have been so special. We suspect Gwen was waiting for him, next to their favorite place Antinouri Lake. We will miss him always with massive love and respect. He will be missed by so many. We love you Dad, Willie, Poppy, Mr. Bill. Rest easy and suffer no more. There is no more we can say but we will miss you always. Say hi to Mom for us. Bill is survived by his 3 Children Shelly Legacy, Carrie Roy, and Kevin Legacy, as well as 2 Grandchildren (Candace Roy and Benjamin Warren) and two Great Grandchildren (Keaton and Parker.)
A private graveside service will be held at the St Gabriel's Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are in the care of MacMillan's Funeral Home, Black Point.
