Anne Griffith (Bergeson) Pessotti passed away on Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Nashua, NH. She passed away surrounded by her loved ones, after a courageous battle with COPD.

 

She was born on March 19, 1950 in Clinton, MA the daughter of the late John True Bergeson and Nancy Griffith Bergeson.

 

She graduated from Nashoba Valley High School in 1968, where she played starting shortstop for 4 years of Varsity softball. She went on to attend Lyndon State College in Lyndonville, VT.

 

She began her banking career as a teller with Bank of America and retired as a Vice President with Citizens Bank.

 

In her free time she loved skiing, tennis, hiking and spending time at Salisbury Beach. She loved to spend her days with her husband, children and grandchildren. She cherished being a grandmother and loved every moment she spent with all of her grandkids, while supporting them in all they loved to do.

 

She is survived by her husband Robert Dwyer of Amherst, NH; two sons, Stephen Pessotti and his wife, Lori of Chester, NH; David Pessotti and his wife Shaelagh of Westford, MA;  her beloved grandchildren, Jake and Lyla Pessotti; Teagan, Delia and Patrick Pessotti;  as well as her stepdaughters Deb Leigh and Kryss Dwyer. She also leaves behind five siblings, David Bergeson, Richard Bergeson, Eric Bergeson, Karen Ames and she was predeceased by her brother, John Bergeson.

 

Relatives and friends will gather for visiting hours in the McGaffigan Funeral Home, 37 Main St. (Rte. 113) Pepperell, MA on Monday, April 4th from 4 to 7 p.m. Her funeral service will be held Tuesday, April 5th at 11 a.m. in the funeral home.
