Fred Strecker Obituary

Fred Strecker, 80, of Baden, PA, passed peacefully in his home surrounded by his family
on March 29, 2022. He was the son of the late Regina and Raymond Strecker.
Fred was employed most of his life at Taylor’s Dairy in Ambridge, in sales, retail, and
wholesale delivery, and as a supervisor until his retirement in 1996. His work ethic and ability to
make people laugh and smile was unparalleled. He was always dedicated to helping others in
need.
Fred Strecker was active in the Baden community as a member of the Baden Fire
Department for 17 years. He assisted with Baden government, the annual Apple Fest, and
parades and community events. He was awarded the Unsung Hero Award in 2016 from the The
Beaver County Times for his dedication to his community. He enjoyed boating, fishing, and was
a lifetime member of the Ambridge Sportsman Club. He was an avid skeet shooter for the Mars
Sportsman Club. There was no construction or home improvement project he couldn’t tackle,
and rebuilt most of his home himself. His greatest love was his family and grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Marjorie Robbins Strecker, son, Brad Strecker,
daughter, Wendi (Joe) Risacher, grandchildren, Bradley and Justin Strecker (Linda Fisher-
Fleming), and Jenna, Maggie, and Alex Risacher. Sister, Elaine (Ken) Drake, of Economy.
