Trent Earl Seegmiller Obituary

Trent Earl Seegmiller was born on April 8, 1978 in Provo, Utah to Barbara and Robert Seegmiller.  Trent grew up in Orem and Provo, Utah in a large family with seven siblings who loved him very much.  Life with Trent was never dull, and he knew how to make people laugh.

On July 14, 2004 Trent married his sweetheart, Sydney Chapman.  They lived happily in Pleasant Grove, Utah, with their daughter Madeline Morris.  Trent was a loving husband and father, and made time with his family a priority.  They enjoyed many years of wonderful memories together.  He was also a dutiful son, a dedicated brother, a caring uncle, and a committed employee.

Trent was a home builder by trade, and was a highly skilled craftsman.  He was talented, precise, and thoughtful in his work.  Not only did he build, create and design for a living, but he used his amazing skills to serve his family and friends, completing many projects for them.  Trent had a generous, helpful, and Christlike nature, and impacted for good the lives of those who were blessed to know him, especially his family.

Trent loved the outdoors, and spent his spare time hunting, fishing, hiking, foraging and enjoying God's creation.  If he wasn't working or with his family, he was in the mountains...and very often he was in the mountains with his family!  Trent was an Eagle Scout and from a young age embodied the principles of the scouting movement including being loyal, helpful, thrifty, and brave.

He appreciated the beauty and peace that nature has to offer.  He loved spending time at the Seegmiller Family cabin in Oakley, Utah, and spent countless hours making improvements on the cabin for his whole family to enjoy!  Trent loved his family and friends with devotion, and many lives were touched by his kind nature.

Trent passed away on March 25, 2022 at his home in Pleasant Grove, UT.  Trent is survived by his sweet wife, Sydney and their daughter Madeline Morris of Pleasant Grove, Utah.  He will also be missed by his parents Robert and Barbara Seegmiller of Saratoga Springs, UT and his siblings:  Douglas Seegmiller (Yolanda), Angie Rapier (Derek), Bradley Seegmiller (Pauline), Debbie Payne (Trevor), Bobby Seegmiller (Marshelle), Dayton Seegmiller (Sophie), Lane Seegmiller (Angelina) and many nieces and nephews.

We cherish the time we were blessed to spend with Trent, and the joyful memories we made together.  We will forever be grateful for his willingness to always be there for us!  We will miss him dearly, but know without a doubt we will see him again!
