Dennis J. Mitchell, August 6, 1968 – March 18, 2022, passed away at University Hospital on March 18th. During his life he was featured on a Syracuse New Times magazine cover handing out a hot dog. He worked at Fayetteville-Manlius school district as a custodian then later he served lunches to kids at Eagle Hill Middle School (where he earned the nickname "Bulldog" from the kids) and later the high school. He also was a DJ on the side. He loved music and playing guitar. He also loved going on vacations with his family and being a grandpa.
Dennis is predeceased by his mother, Glenda Mitchell and his father, Milton Mitchell, Sr.
Dennis is survived by his wife Francine Mitchell, daughter, Jill Richard and son-in-law Joseph Richard and grandson Greyson Richard. Dennis is also survived by his brother Milton Mitchell Jr and sister-in-law Linda Mitchell, his sister Diane Emm, his nephews Shane Mitchell, Charlie Emm (Tara Emm), Chris Emm, Mathew Emm, and Dorin Emm. Also survived by his niece Lindsay Mitchell and great nieces Serena and Maddison Emm.
