Jackie "Jack Cane" Browner Obituary

Jackie Browner was born on December 23, 1961, in Macon, Bibb County, Georgia to the parentage of Deacon Roosevelt Browner and Susie L. Johnson Browner.

He was educated in the Bibb County School System.  Throughout his life, Jackie was employed at Groom pets, Brown & Williams Tobacco Plant, Elite Car Detail Shop and Dairy Queen, all of Macon, Georgia.

Jackie was a loving son, brother, uncle and friend to many.  He was very outspoken and he loved playing basketball and football as a child.  He loved people and would give you the shirt off his back and his last dollar.  Jackie never played around nor backed down to anyone when it came to his family, especially when it came down to his mother and me (his better half). LOL.

On Friday morning, March 18, 2022, our beloved Jackie Browner entered into eternal rest.  He is now reunited with our mother, Susie Browner; our baby sister, we didn’t get to meet, as a newborn, Rose Marie Browner; two brothers, Gregory Browner and Sammie Johnson and the love of his life of 35 years, Yvonne Stephens.

Cherished memories shall remain in the hearts of his beloved families and friends.  He leaves behind his father, Deacon Roosevelt Browner; twin sister, Jacquelyn Browner Cleveland, Minister Iris Wynes; brother, Joshua Davis; eight nephews, Clifford T. Browner, Kelcey M. Browner, Quintez S. Browner, James A. Browner, Justin Browner, Deortis Johnson, Keshun Napier and Danell Napier; five nieces, Keisha Johnson, Martina L. B. Thomas, Tasha N. Browner, Tenisha L.B. Moore and Shawanda B. Wynes; sister-in-law, Sharon Johnson, Kenya G. Browner, Porchia Browner and Donna Browner; brother-in-laws, Vincent White, George Thomas and Quinton Moore; three uncles, Shelly Johnson, Freddie Browner and Eddie Browner; four aunts, Ellen Johnson, Robersine Browner, Willie Mae Sanders and Carrie Browner; a devoted friend, like a brother to the family, Glenn Berry; a host of great nieces and great nephews; step-children, Murray Stephens, Taurus Stephens, Bruce Stephens, Octavia Balwin and Lakelia Stephens.
