<p>James Michael Conneely, 78 years old, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, March 16, 2022.</p> <p>Born April 24, 1943, in Brooklyn, NY to parents James and Mary (Nee- Conneally).</p> <p>Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY Jim was a 1st generation Irish American, whose parents immigrated to America.</p> <p>After graduating high school in 1961, Jim entered the United States Navy serving from 1964 to 1970. After which Jim began what would be a 30-year career in the United Brotherhood of Carpenters, Local 608, NY,NY. During his career, he contributed in helping to build in the construction of landmarks such as Yankee Stadium, Bronx, NY and the World Trade Center, NY,NY.</p> <p>James married his wife Margaret in 1967 in the Bronx, NY. They raised their family just over the Bridge in Dumont, NJ, where they have resided for nearly 50 years.</p> <p>He is survived by his wife Margaret, (Stedina), of 55 years. Jim will be missed by his children and spouses: Christine Collins and husband Sean, Michele Conneely and husband Terrence , Lynn Munz and husband Stephen.</p> <p>Proud grandpa to Connor and Shannon Collins, Felicia and Grace Conneely-Nolan.</p> <p>He is also survived by his siblings and their spouses: Mary Monahan and husband Joseph, John Conneely and wife Diana, Thomas Conneely and wife Eileen, Margaret Curtin and husband Jack.</p> <p>Friends and family are invited to attend visiting hours at the Boulevard Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 1151 River Road, New Milford, on Thursday from 1 pm to 3 pm and 6 pm to 8 pm. The following day, Friday, a Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11 am in St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church in Cresskill. Burial will follow at Maryrest Cemetery, Mahwah.&nbsp;</p>
