Terry Lee Cornett

   Terry Lee Cornett, 66 of Baxter, KY passed away Friday evening of March 25, 2022 at the Harlan ARH.
   Terry was born December 14, 1955 in Harlan, KY to the late Luther and Janie Cornett. He was a retired coal miner and believed in the Holiness Faith.
   Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Patty Rinesmith; a brother , Jerry Cornett; a nephew, Charles Massingale, Jr.
   He is survived by his daughter, Terri Elizabeth (Chris) Griffey of Baxter; brothers, Larry (Jan) Cornett of Michigan, Joe (Sally) Cornett of Michigan, Danny (Nancy) Cornett of Harlan, Jeff (Deborah) Cornett of Baxter, Tim (Lisa) Cornett of Harlan; sisters, Sherry Shuler of Baxter, Brenda (Jerry) Lindenbour of Michigan, Tammy (Brent) Williams of Harlan; sister in law, Mary Cornett of Baxter, KY; two grandsons, Dillion Cornett and Matthew Griffey of Baxter; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends survive, including a special friend, Mike Williams of Baxter, KY.
    Visitation will be 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm Monday (March 28) at the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home.
    Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Tuesday (March 29) in the Chapel of the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home with Rev. Dillard Stanley officiating. 
    Private burial will follow in the Cornett Cemetery at Baxter, KY. 
    The family would also like to thank the staff at Harlan ARH and Dr. Jose Echeverria, and the staff of Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home for all of the kindness and care shown to Terry and  Cornett family during these difficult days.
