The family sadly announce the peacefully passing of Derek Eveleigh of Comfort Cove on Wednesday, March 23, 2022. Leaving to cherish his memory his brother Junior (Pearl) and sister Louisa (Bruce) Adams; nephews Dwight (Blanche),Patrick (Felicia) nieces, Ellen (Earl), Cindy (Dennis), Ashley, Tiffany, Keisha, and Jillian; his caretaker Verley her husband Carl and family. Derek was predeceased by his parents, Raymond and Ivy Eveleigh.

Resting at the Salvation Army Church in Comfort Cove with visitation on Friday, from 7-9pm. Funeral will take place on Saturday, March 26, at 2pm with interment to follow at the Salvation Army Cemetery in Comfort Cove.

Donations may be made in his memory to the Salvation Army Building Fund.
