<p>Carl Edward Frost, age 62, of Sherman, Texas gained his wings on Saturday, March 19, 2022 at the Texoma Medical Center in Denison, Texas. He was born on Monday, September 7, 1959 to Clinton Frost and Ester Helen Hamilton in Idabel, Oklahoma.</p> <p>He was a graduate of Idabel High School and attended college at Southeastern State University in Durant, Oklahoma. After college, he began a career in serving others as a police officer for the Idabel Police Department then spent the latter of his career at the Dallas Sheriff&#39;s Office in Dallas, Texas. Carl loved the outdoors where he enjoyed fishing from his favorite lakes, playing dominoes with friends and family, and listening to Contemporary Jazz and Blues. Carl loved his family, especially his baby girl, Kandi. She was his pride and joy. Carl was a fun-loving father, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, and friend. Carl will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.</p> <p>Carl was preceded in death by his parents and his first wife, Betty &quot;Nita&quot; Frost.</p> <p>Carl is survived by his loving daughter, Shamika Frost of Glenn Heights, Texas; three brothers, William Hamilton of Mesquite, Texas, Wilburt Hamilton of Mesquite, Texas and Brian Hamilton of Idabel, Oklahoma; four sisters, Beverly Hamilton of Nebraska, Rhonda Hamilton of Amarillo, Texas, Teresa Wynn of Denton, Texas and Elaine Frost of Midwest City, Oklahoma; his second wife, JoAnn Edwards Frost of Glenn Heights, Texas; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.</p> <p>Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 2, 2022 at 10:00 A.M. at the First Baptist Church West Side in Idabel, Oklahoma where Reverend Allen Gulley will officiate.
