<p>Melvin H. Tefft, 79 passed away Friday, May 8, 2015. Born on November 20, 1935 in Cambridge, NY, He the son of the late Bert and Dorothy (Todd) Tefft. Melvin was a 1953 graduate of Argyle Central Schools. He was a United States Air Force veteran and served in the Korean War. He then worked for the former Mohawk Airlines of Albany in 1962 and retired from US Air as a flight supervisor in 1991.Melvin enjoyed browsing antiques and collected antique radios, vinyl records and military paraphernalia. He loved being outdoors mowing on his tractor.He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Charlotte (Tripp) Tefft of Ballston Spa; a brother, Thomas Tefft of Argyle; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.A funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at the Armer Funeral Home, Inc., 39 East High St., Ballston Spa. Burial with military honors will follow at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery in Schuylerville. Relatives and friends may call from 10 am to 12 noon on Wednesday at the funeral home prior to the services.Memorial contributions may be made to the Gateway House of Peace, 479 Rowland Street, Ballston Spa, NY 12020</p>Obituary
