Clinton Duane Jones, 62, of Russellville, passed away Sunday, March 20, 2022, at Capital Region Medical Center.
He was born March 2, 1960, in Jefferson City, the son of Cecil Jones and Lillian Elizabeth (Hannabel) Wissmann.
He was a 1978 graduate of Russellville High School.
He was united in marriage on April 19, 1980, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Stringtown to Michelle Lanette Fischer who survives at the home.
Clint worked for the Missouri Department of Transportation with the road crew division. He was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Russellville. Clint loved working on cars, going on adventurous travels, attending swap meets, cooking and making home-made ice cream, and most of all spending time with his grandchildren who called him Baw Baw.
Survivors include his wife, Michelle Jones, Russellville; two daughters, Shelby (Cortney) Taylor, Mokane; Sarah (Sam) Hammond, Eldon; four grandchildren, Khale Hammond, Canon Taylor, Kimber Hammond, Kylee Hammond; and three siblings, Craig Jones, Corwin Jones, and Paula Jones.
He was preceded in death by his mother and stepfather, Beth and Donald Wissmann; and a sister, Catherine Jones.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, March 25, 2022, at Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Russellville with a service to follow at 1 p.m. with Bro. Alan Earls officiating.
Memorials are suggested to the family of Clint Jones (in care of Michelle Jones) to be used for the future educational needs of his grandchildren.
