<br><br>Ilion, NY: Marie D. “Re Re” Soldato, 39, of Ilion, passed away unexpectedly, Saturday, March 19, 2022.<br>She was born in Utica, NY, August 20, 1982, a daughter of Patricia A. (LaFluer) Soldato and the late Frank D. Soldato III. Marie was raised and educated locally, graduating from Frankfort High School, class of 2001. At one time, she had been the manager of her families’ concern, Soldato’s Pizzeria, in Marcy. <br>Re Re’s smile always lit up the room. She was energetic and charismatic; loved people and enjoyed being around her family and many friends. She unconditionally loved her children and family. Re Re had a great passion for music and enjoyed many concerts and music festivals. May she be dancing in the sky.<br>Surviving are two daughters, Emma Rose Betti of Frankfort and Chloe Marie Soldato of Ilion; her mother, Patricia A. (LaFluer) Soldato and her companion, David Rosati both of Ilion; a brother, Frank D. Soldato IV of the United Kingdom; her paternal grandmother, Marie M. Soldato of Schuyler; aunts and uncles, Dominick and Cathy Soldato of FL, Michael and Cathy Keller of KS, Vincent Soldato of Utica, Ellen Mulikan, Silvana LaFluer, Linda Kaczor, Thomas N. and Joann LaFluer, James B. and Christine LaFluer, and John and Sandra LaFluer; great aunts, great uncles, cousins, and many special friends including, Ana Rosado. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Neil B. and Ursula I. (Goosefelt) LaFluer; and her paternal grandfather, Frank D. Soldato, Jr.<br>In keeping with Marie’s wishes, there will be no public visitation. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her Mass of Resurrection, Friday morning at 10:00, at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel/Blessed Sacrament Parish. Visitors will be received in church immediately following Marie’s funeral service.
