Sandra Kay "Sandy" Jarvis, 71, of Dorena, Oregon passed away December 12, 2015. She was born on August 30, 1944 in San Bernardino, CA to John and Esther (Thatcher) Eubanks. She attended school in Colton, CA. Sandy married Allan Jarvis on February 4, 1961 in Las Vegas, NV. She was employed at San Bernardino Community Hospital until moving to Oregon in 1971. She then worked for Emerald Valley Craftsman as an administrative assistant. She also worked for the City of Cottage Grove as a custodian. Sandy enjoyed bowling, going out to eat and she was in her element playing BINGO. She taught Sunday school for years. She was more than a teacher; she was another mother to them. Sandy was a member of the LDS congregation in Cottage Grove. She is survived by her husband, Allan Jarvis, Dorena, OR; son, Allan B. Jarvis, Creswell, OR; son, Fred Jarvis, Boise, ID; son, Michael S. Jarvis, Dorena, OR; brother, Johnny (Butch) Eubank, Riverside, CA; brother, Percy Eubanks, San Bernardino, CA; brother, Leland Eubanks, San Bernardino, CA; 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. A Visitation will be held at 1:00 PM on December 21, 2015 in the Relief Society Room just prior to the funeral service. A Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on December 21, 2015 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 531 S. 10th St., Cottage Grove, OR 97424.
