Shirley Mitchell, age 97, passed away on Monday, March 21, 2022 at Avoyelles Manor Nursing Home in Dupont. She was born on June 4, 1924 in Denver, Colorado. She’s lived in Minnesota, Florida, and Louisiana.
Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Craig (Karlene) Mitchell of New Orleans; grandchildren: Justin Mitchell and Larissa Mitchell; great-grandchildren: Claire, Grace, Noah, and Julianne.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Mitchell; her parents, Louis & Harriet Myers.
