Clare Melvin Lang Obituary

Clare Lang died peacefully, surrounded by family, at North Bay Regional Health Centre, on Friday, March 18, 2022. He was 95 years old. Clare was predeceased by his wife Veronica (Muriwske) (1933-2012). He was the much-loved father of Margaret Daley (the late Paul) of Oshawa, Patti King (Ron) of Scarborough, Wayne Lang (Bev) of Powassan, the late Paul Lang (Maureen of Trout Creek), Sherrie McGrath (Paul) Scarborough, Deserie Parsons (the late Freeman) of Port Credit, Melanie Harden (Glenn) of Scarborough, Mark Lang (the late Angela) of Trout Creek, and Lesa Lingenfelter (Paul) of Trout Creek. He will be longingly remembered by 19 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his grandson Billy Lang. Clare was the dear brother of Neil Lang (Peg) of North Bay and was predeceased by his siblings Howard (the late Patty), Conrad, Helen Stortz (the late Len), Ben Lang (the late Madeleine), Isabel Hussack (the late Doug) and Connie Lang (Eileen of Kitchener). The Lang family will receive visitors at the Paul Funeral Home, Powassan, on Tuesday, March 22, 2022 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Fr. Mitchell Beachey will celebrate the funeral mass at Sacred Heart Church, Trout Creek on Wednesday, March 23 at 11:00 am and will be live-streamed at paulfuneralhome.ca (see below for link). At the request of the family, MASKS MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES. Immediately following Mass interment will take place at Sacred Heart Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations to Sacred Heart Church are suggested (see below).
