<p><span style="font-size:16px;">Charles R. Rex, age 59, went home to be with the Lord on Monday March 14, 2022 in Myrtle Beach, SC. He was born in Massillon on April 9, 1962 and graduated from McKinley High School in 1981. Chuck was a member of Firestone Road Baptist Church in his youth and came to know the Lord&nbsp;through those ministries. This led him to pursue a career in youth ministry and coaching. He attended Springfield Baptist Bible College where he received his pastorate degree. In addition, he worked part time as a law enforcement officer, became a teacher and coach at a school for troubled youth. He was talented, a man of many trades, and his passion was youth and making a difference in young adult&rsquo;s lives leading them to know Jesus Christ as their Saviour.&nbsp;He retired in 2016 but continued to lead people to the Lord up until his passing.&nbsp;</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;">Chuck is survived by his loving wife of 6 years Lori Holdren; daughter Marcy (Raul) Figueroa; grandchildren Adriel and Selah Figueroa; mother Nancy Werstler Rossow; siblings Debra (Denny) Proper, Diane Russell (Liz Brownfield) and Nancy Bailey (Gail Fisher); nieces and nephews Autumn Russell, Justin (Casey) Bailey; lifetime friend Rod Hodge. Preceded in death by step-father Bernard Rossow; and nephews Jordan and David.&nbsp;</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;">Calling hours are Tuesday March 22nd, 5-7 PM and a celebration of life service begins promptly&nbsp;at 7 PM at the Arnold Funeral Home, 1517 Market Ave., N, Canton with Dr. Timothy King officiating.
