<p>Lee &quot;Petey&quot; Anthony Brasher, 80 of Nortonville passed away Thursday, March 17, 2022, at his home with family by his side.&nbsp; Born February 28, 1942, to the late Evan Riley and Bonnie Henery (Faughender) Brasher.&nbsp; By trade he was a coal miner for FIES/Console Energy for 28 years and a member of UMWA District 23.&nbsp; He was an outdoors man, he loved camping, fishing and hunting.&nbsp; He enjoyed gardening and building things.&nbsp; Lee was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather and friend.</p> <p>In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Lynda Baker Brasher; and brothers, Willis &quot;Hoppy&quot; Brasher, James Brasher and Don Brasher.</p> <p>Survived by his son Christopher (Lisa) Brasher of White Plains; granddaughters, Ashley (Stacey) Grable of Dawson Springs and Christa (Brody) Sallee of White Plains; 3 and 1 on the way&nbsp;great-grandchildren; 2&nbsp;great-great-grandchildren; sister, Wanda Hale of Owensboro; brother, Larry Joe Brasher of Nortonville; and brother-in-law, Andre (Nancy) Baker of Indianapolis.</p> <p>Graveside service will be held Monday at 1:30pm at New Salem Cemetery in Nortonville. Visitation will begin at 1:00pm graveside.&nbsp;</p>

Lee "Petey" Anthony Brasher, 80 of Nortonville passed away Thursday, March 17, 2022, at his home with family by his side.  Born February 28, 1942, to the late Evan Riley and Bonnie Henery (Faughender) Brasher.  By trade he was a coal miner for FIES/Console Energy for 28 years and a member of UMWA District 23.  He was an outdoors man, he loved camping, fishing and hunting.  He enjoyed gardening and building things.  Lee was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather and friend.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Lynda Baker Brasher; and brothers, Willis "Hoppy" Brasher, James Brasher and Don Brasher.

Survived by his son Christopher (Lisa) Brasher of White Plains; granddaughters, Ashley (Stacey) Grable of Dawson Springs and Christa (Brody) Sallee of White Plains; 3 and 1 on the way great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Wanda Hale of Owensboro; brother, Larry Joe Brasher of Nortonville; and brother-in-law, Andre (Nancy) Baker of Indianapolis.

Graveside service will be held Monday at 1:30pm at New Salem Cemetery in Nortonville. Visitation will begin at 1:00pm graveside.
