Jefflee "Jeff" Alan McCallister 65 of Galion, passed away on March 12, 2022 at the Galion Avita Hospital.
Jeff was born on August 14, 1956 in Bucyrus, Ohio to the late Hanley and Janet (Scott) McCallister. He married Angela Johnson and they enjoyed a wonderful 28 years together before her passing in 2021.
Jeff was a graduate of Bucyrus High School, Class of 1974. After high school, he went on the serve our country proudly in the United State Marines from 1974 until 1978. Jeff took pride in his wood working and his collection of model cars. He was always looking for different projects to DIY. Jeff's most cherished times were those spent with his children and grandchildren.
Jeff is survived by his daughters; Kelly (Wayne) McCallister of Bucyrus, Jennifer McCallister of Galion and Jessica McCallister of Bucyrus; his siblings; Deborah (Bruce) Quador of Wapwallopen, PA and Rebecca Sanger; his grandchildren; Shawn, Shane, Javontae, Danayah, Karmyne and Kanyara; two great grandchildren; Michael and Dawson; nephews; Josh (Ashley) Morgan and Kory Sanger; and the mother of his children, Jeannette Lust.
In addition to his parents and wife, Jeff is preceded in death by his step-father, Carl Whitt.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
