Roy "Buddy" Shuldheisz Jr.
<p>Ellendale, ND-Funeral Service for Roy “Buddy” Shuldheisz Jr., 78, of Ellendale and formerly of Monango will be 10:00 am, Saturday, March 26, 2022, at Carlsen Funeral Home in Ellendale. Rev. Paul O.S. Preus will officiate.</p> <p>Burial will be in St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery, rural Kulm, ND.</p> <p>Visitation will be Friday, March 25, 2022, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the funeral home.</p> <p>Buddy died March 18, 2022, at Benedictine Living Community in Ellendale.</p> <p>Roy “Buddy,” son of Roy G. and Esther (Dockter) Shuldheisz Sr. was born May 18, 1943, near Kulm, ND. Following Buddy’s education, he raised cattle, horses and farmed, raising wheat and numerous crops. He thoroughly enjoyed farming and ranching.</p> <p>He liked to go hunting and fishing. Buddy was a deeply religious man and was a good friend and brother to John. He loved to garden and took his produce to the fair annually. He also liked to grow pumpkins and sell them. In December 2021, he moved to Ellendale.</p> <p>Grateful for having shared Buddy’s life are his brother, John Shuldheisz of Ellendale; sister, Priscilla Benfit of Billings, MT; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.</p> <p>Buddy was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Sylvia Dobler and Deborah Janz.</p> <p>Casketbearers will be Ken Morehead and Brett Miller.</p> <p>Carlsen Funeral Home of Ellendale has been entrusted with arrangements. </p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p>Obituary
