Following a brief hospitalization and with his mother at his side, Joshua Hiram Turner of Cawood, Kentucky, passed away in peace at the age of 40 on March 17, 2022 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center.  
   He was preceded in death by his wife Alicia, his father Johnny, his brother Jacob, his cousin Shawn Smith, and his grandparents: Willie and Bert Jordan, Bethel Stewart, Arnold and Oma Turner. 
   Joshua is survived by his daughter Kami Turner; his mother, Marilyn Stewart Turner; sister Lora Beth King (Wes); brother Jonathan Turner (Lindsey); brother Joseph Turner (Rebekah); and sister Lacey Gillam (Phil). He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and other beloved family and friends.  His nieces and nephews adored him, and this was evident in their big smiles and open arms when they saw him. Joshua loved to bike, and he also loved spending time alone in the solitude of the woods and mountains. We will miss his quiet and sensitive spirit. Joshua will be fondly remembered as a loving husband, father, son, brother, and uncle.  
   Visitation will be 12:00 - 2:00 pm Sunday (March 20) at Riverside Church of God. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 pm with his uncle Rev. Frank Stewart officiating. 
   Burial will follow in the Turner Cemetery at Cawood, Ky. Family and friends will serve as Pallbearers.
