Edward Griffin, 66, a native of Beaufort, SC, passed away on Saturday, March 12, 2022,  at Sentara Albemarle Medical Center in Elizabeth City, NC. Arrangements are entrusted to Allen Funeral Home. We welcome you to provide your thoughts and memories on our tribute wall.

Edward Griffin, the son of the late Willie Griffin Sr. and  Ethel Moultrie-Griffin. was born on January 14, 1956 in Beaufort, SC          
He departed his earthly life on Saturday, March 12, 2022  
Edward received his early education in Beaufort public School system. He later relocated to North Carolina where he spent over forty years .  
He had a warm loving nature.  He never met a stranger and was willing to share whatever he had with others.   While he was not an avid church goer, but he fellowship at various churches Edward believed that God was truly his keeper and provider.  
Those left to cherish his memories are  Eldest brother Benjamin Griffin of Beaufort, Eldest sister Mary Lee Smith  (Dan Smith) of Beaufort, Mother Mattie Cummings (Deacon Wesley Cummings Sr.) of Beaufort, Williemena Pope (Joe Pope) both of Beaufort, SC, and Etta Griffin of Beaufort, SC, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
