<p>Anthony Adams was the first child born to Jack and Dorothy Lee (Frazier) Adams on April 13, 1958.&nbsp; He was born in Passaic, New Jersey. He was soon joined by a sister, Zenobia.&nbsp; In 1965, the family moved to Atlanta, Georgia, where another brother, Jack Casears, was born. The family, subsequently, settled in Decatur, Georgia.&nbsp;</p> <p>Anthony was baptized, at an early age, at Thankful Baptist Church in Decatur, GA. He attended City of Decatur Schools, including Decatur High School.&nbsp; He met his best friend, Jeffery Hammonds, who became a family friend and was someone Anthony could depend on in a time of need. Throughout his school years, Anthony was known to be a fun-loving person. He later studied at Dekalb Community College.&nbsp;</p> <p>In May 1984, Anthony married the former Judy Price. To this union, a son and daughter were<br /> born &ndash; Mark and Nastasia.&nbsp; Anthony worked as a Service Advisor at Pep Boys and at Stovall. Anthony loved playing football, but had a passion for music. He started playing the violin, but fell in love with the drums. He became a member of the band, First Light, and&nbsp; played and traveled with several bands. Due to health issues, he became disabled later in his life.</p> <p>On Monday, March 14, 2022, Anthony returned to the loving arms of God. He joins, in eternity, his maternal grandparents, June and Annie Frazier; paternal grandparents, Jimmy and Clara Adams; his mother, Dorothy Lee Adams; and his brother Jack Casears (&ldquo;Sears&rdquo;) Adams.</p> <p>He leaves, to cherish his memory: his wife, Judy Adams; his children, Mark Anthony Adams&nbsp; and Nastasia Adams; granddaughter, Amelia K. Adams; father, Jack Adams; sister, Zenobia Adams; half sister, Rose Taylor; and a host of other family and friends.</p>
