LeAnne Shaffer, age 52, of Mount Vernon, passed away on Monday, March 14, 2022 surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on March 12, 1970 in Newark, Ohio and was the daughter of the late Tom and Nancy (Baker) Huntley.

LeAnne or LeLe as known by many enjoyed Disney with her family, any beach and a good book.  She will forever be a Steelers fan and child at heart, rescuing any and all animals.  There was never a child that she met that didn’t feel right at home in her arms.  LeLe will be truly missed by all!

LeAnne is survived by her husband of 36 years, Patrick Shaffer; a son, Kyle Shaffer; daughter and son-in-law, Vicktoria and Ron Bailey; granddaughter, Payton Shaffer; brothers, Craig (Christina) Neighbarger and Ryan (Katie) Neighbarger; sisters, Maryanne Neighbarger and Lisa Ann (Brian) Falls; special nieces, Aleah Neighbarger and Hailey O’Donnell.

She was preceded in death by a brother, James Huntley; aunt, Alice Garverick and a cousin, Donis Garverick.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 18, 2022 from 1:00 – 4:00PM at Snyder Funeral Home – Lasater Chapel.  Where a funeral service will follow at 4:00PM.
