Eugene V. Sherrill, 93, of Waterfall Road, Hustontown, PA, died Tuesday, March 15, 2022 at his home.

Born April 17, 1928 at Akron, OH, he was a son of the late Virgil R. and Willie Burdett (Boone) Sherrill. He was united in marriage to the former Mildred Osborne on November 7, 1953. Mrs. Sherrill survives at their home.

He is also survived by three children, Wanda Jean Chilcote and husband Rick of Hustontown, Michael Eugene Sherrill and wife Darlene of Garrettsville, OH and Terry Taylor and husband Andrew of McConnellsburg, PA, nine grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and one sister, Joyce Carol Davis of Canton, OH. He was preceded in death by four brothers, Rev. Clayton Sherrill, James E. Sherrill, Robert L. Sherrill and Donald Sherrill and one sister, Louise Hartman.

Mr. Sherrill was a member of the Hustontown Church of God. 

A millwright, he retired from LTV Steel, Cleveland, OH in 1989.

Mr. Sherrill was a veteran of the U. S. Navy serving during the Korean War.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, March 19, 2022 at the M. R. Brown Funeral Home, 301 Pitt St., Hustontown, PA with Rev. Jimmy Dellinger and Pastor David Pine officiating. Interment will be made at Hustontown Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
