MR. RONNIE JAMES "Watergate"  CLYBURN, 71 of MONROE, NC passed away Monday, March 14, 2022  at  Atrium Health / Union in Monroe, NC 

A Memorial Service in his honor will be held 4:00 pm Saturday, March 19, 2022 at the Harris Funeral Home Memorial Chapel in Monroe, NC.

Ronnie James "Watergate' Clyburn , was born on October 8, 1950 in Lancaster, South Carolina.  He departed this earthly life on Tuesday, March 15, 2022, in the Atrium Health /Union Hospital, Monroe, NC., where he resided with the love of his life, Loraine Washington.

His love for family and friends brought us together every year  to celebrate "His Special Day" for many years.

Ronnie's friendliness and humor formed bonds with all persons he met and will be remembered for his "Smile".

He and Loraine helped strangers, neighbors and friends in need and shared food and fellowship with everyone.  His love for Loraine extended to be a father to Felice McGriff and her son, Rudy McGriff and Miguel Washington of Charlotte, NC; Dellareese and Thomas Clyburn of Wingate, NC.  Hehad 16 grandchildren and eight  great-great-grandchildren, all left to cherish his memories, Clyde Caudle and Aaron Wilson are special friends, along with a host of cousins who will miss him dealy.  His parents, Muriel and Dan Gawronski, preceded him in death.

Ronnie will forever remain in our hearts.
