Jimmie Eloise Sharp Johnson passed away surrounded by her loving family on Saturday March 12, 2022, at the age of 77. She was a lifelong resident of Folsom Louisiana. Born Saturday September 8, 1945, in Bush, Louisiana to Ira Sharp & Alma Taylor Sharp. Jimmie is survived by her companion of 19 years Harvey Hyatt. Her daughter Susie Gitz Miller (David). Sons Needham Tinker Gill (Loretta), Joe Don Mason (Jessica). 8 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren. Brothers Daniel, Rufus, Orece Sharp, Sisters Alma S. Kennedy and Nola “Sis” Galloway (Tom). She was predeceased by her parents Ira & Alma Sharp and Son Joey Gitz, Brothers Horatio, Douglas, Clifton, Elliott & Ottis Sharp. Sisters Metta Doris S. Johnson, Helen Eletha Sharp, Viola “Shuggie” Domingue and Rose S. Hiene. Jimmie worked at Southeast Louisiana Hospital retired after 25 years. She later worked at Walmart and retired after 24 years. Jimmie loved her pets especially “Boots” & “Tiny” who were waiting for her.

Family and friends are invited to attend Funeral Services on Friday March 18, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Bagnell & Son Funeral Home 75212 Hwy 437 Covington, Louisiana 70435 with visitation from 9:30a.m. until service time. Internment to follow in the Fauntleroy Cemetery.
