Richard “Rocky” Otis Collins, 35, went to be in the arms of Jesus on March 7th, 2022.
Rocky began his journey in California on July 5th, 1986 but was raised and lived in Georgia. He was the son of Walter Glenn Collins of Cincinnati, Ohio and Katherine Kay and William Young Daniel of Midway, Georgia. Rocky was a free spirit, his children made him smile. He was a beloved son, father, brother, grandson, uncle, cousin, nephew and friend. Rocky loved animals, enjoyed the outdoors, enjoyed fishing, laughing, and catching gators as a child. He was preceded in death by his father, Walter Glenn Collins. Rocky will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Rocky is survived by his parents; Katherine Kay and William Young Daniel; his children, Landon Cole, Jayda Kay, and Kevin James of Midway, Georgia; his brothers, Thomas Robert and wife, Mercedes and Walter “Buster” Glen Collins and wife, Corra of Beverly Hills, Florida and numerous other family members.
“Until we meet again” We think about you always, We talk about you still, You have never been forgotten, And you never will. We hold you close within our hearts, And there you will remain. To walk and guide us through our lives, Until we meet again.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 17, 2022 at 1:00 pm at the Thomas L. Carter Funeral Home Chapel in Flemington. Burial will follow service at the Midway Methodist Church Cemetery.
