Betty Lynn Goodwin Obituary
Betty Lynn Goodwin, 83, of Crossett, passed away on Monday, March 14, 2022. She was born in Crossett, Arkansas on November 21, 1938, and was member of the South Crossett Missionary Baptist Church.
Betty was a 1957 graduate of Crossett High School and on January 29, 1959, she married her lifelong best friend and companion, Charles Goodwin. For the next sixty-three years, Betty was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker.
She enjoyed cross stitching, and over the last few years became an avid reader.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Zenith Sivils Carter, and one son, Charles “Chuck” Henry Goodwin in 1982.
She leaves behind her husband of sixty-three years, Charles Goodwin of Crossett; and one daughter, Tara Clearman (David) of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas; along with two grandsons, Brad Seiter (Kelley) also of Hot Springs Village, and Jonathan Kettles of Bryant, Arkansas; nine great-grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and a host of other family members and friends.
A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 16th, at Pinewood Memorial Park with Bro. Chris Sexton officiating.
Visitation will be from 12:30 - 1:30 p.m., prior to the service at Medders Funeral Home, 1564 Hwy 52 W, in Crossett.
