Obituary

Sylvia was born in Gilbert Plains on July 10, 1938 and lived in Garland until moving to Winnipeg.

Upon moving to Winnipeg, she met and married John Boschman on June 20, 1959. While living in Winnipeg she was employed by the T Eaton Co and upon moving to MacGregor she did books for Four Way Bearing and worked alongside John when they purchased Locost.

Mom enjoyed many things that included travelling, golf, camping, and was always up for a game of cards with family and friends. Dad and Mom spent many years travelling to Texas where they made many friends far and wide. Once they were no longer "Winter Texans" they continued to travel for pleasure and trips for nephew Leonard. Her dream was always to see Alaska and Newfoundland, but my dad was unable to fulfill that promise so Wally and I made that happen. She was proud to say she had seen every province in Canada. We always tried to include her in vacations, camping, meals, card games and more.  I hope as you read this and knew her you have some special memories of your own because we have many. She will truly be missed.

Sylvia was predeceased by her husband John, parents John and Nellie, and brother Tony.  She is survived by daughter and “favorite” son-in-law Brenda (Wally) Meers, brother Leonard (Lesia) Tymchyshyn, sisters Barb (Russell) Sirski, Rose Anne (Ed) Kolisnyk, sisters-in-law Marcie Tymchyshyn, Tena (Harvey) Doerksen, Betty (George) Martens, Susan Peters, Hilda Pentney, brother-in-law Jay (Millie) Boschman and their families and many extended family and friends.
