Mr. James Anthony Shaw, 67, of 1309 Vandora Ave., Garner, formerly of Ivanhoe, passed away on Friday, March 11, 2022, at his residence.
James was born September 07, 1954, in Pender County to the late Gilead Smith Shaw & Marie Millen Shaw. James earned a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture degree. He used his education and worked for over 30 years with Agri Supply in Sales. He was well-liked by many associates and members of the community. In addition to his parents, James is preceded in death by his beloved wife: Carol Ellis Shaw, son: Robert Danial Shaw, two brothers: John Danial Shaw; Irving Dudley Shaw, and sister: Glendle Shaw Burns.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, March 18, 2022, at Harmony Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Harrells. Pastor Jerry Stephenson will be presiding over the service.
James leaves to cherish his memory one son: James Anthony Shaw II, grandchildren, two sisters: Rebecca Ann Shaw; Ruth Shaw Jennings, nieces: Beth Illig; Laura Markl, and his very dear close friend of many years: Linda Stephenson.
