It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of James Henry Follensbee, 96, on March 13, 2022. He passed peacefully at home with his wife of 64 years, and his son by his side. James was born on October 21, 1925 to Charles and Virginia Follensbee in Chatfield, MN.

James met Kretie Holder in 1956 in Eureka and they were wed on November 23rd, 1956. They were blessed with three children, Connie, Debbie and Charley. James is predeceased by one grandson, survived by 6 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren, (one of which was just born this week).

James was a force of nature, a craftsman and a card shark. He was loved and cherished by many. James was a devoted and caring husband, honored veteran, wonderful father, and the best grandfather. We mourn the loss of James and encourage any and all who knew him to remember the beauty he brought to this world. 

Services will be at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, March 19, 2022 at the First Baptist Church in Eureka.  Arrangements are by Schnackenberg Funeral Home in Eureka.  Online condolences and memories may be shared at www.schnackenbergfh.com.
