Leona K. Frustere (nee Nagle), 78, of Madison, OH, passed away peacefully Saturday afternoon, March 12th, 2022 at Cardinal Woods Healthcare in Madison. She was born in Cambria County, PA on January 18th, 1944 to the late Leroy and Elizabeth (Jodon) Nagle. Leona is once again reunited with her loving husband, Robert Frustere, who died September 17th, 2016. 

Leona spent her early childhood with family and loved ones in Pennsylvania, moving to Cleveland in her adolescence with her mother and sister, Connie. She lived along the shores of Lake Erie in North Collinwood, and frequently passed her time at the world famous Euclid Beach Park. She greatly enjoyed tanning in the summertime sun, and having fun with her friends. 

Leona had only one child, naming her Julieann, before placing her up for adoption in hopes of giving the child a better life.

Shortly thereafter, she met the love of her life, and soon married. Most of her adult life was spent being a doting wife, and mother to many, many beloved pets through the years.

Leona leaves behind an amazing legacy of those who loved her. She was a sister, a mother, a grandmother, and an aunt to many! Her final days were spent with her daughter Julieann, twin sister Iona, niece Tina (and husband Rick) by her bedside. Surrounded by loved ones, exactly as it should be.

Leona will be greatly missed by: her daughter, Julieann Simpson; sisters, Barbara, Connie, and twin sister, Iona Williams; brother, James Nagle; grandchildren: Hannah C. Simpson and Mia A. Simpson; and many friends.

Leona is preceded in death by: her parents Leroy and Elizabeth Nagle, and loving husband, Robert Frustere.
