Kathleen "Kathy" Boge

Kathleen “Kathy” Boge, 76, of Charles City, passed away Sunday, March 13, 2022 at the Floyd County Medical Center in Charles City. A funeral service will be held at 1:00p.m. on Friday, March 25, 2022 at Hauser Weishaar Funeral Home in Charles City with Erik Hoefer officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Charles City. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 24, 2022 at Hauser Weishaar Funeral Home and continue one hour prior to the service on Friday. Kathleen Faye (Dugan) Boge, was born on August 15th, 1945 in Charles City to Fay and Inez (Rowe) Dugan, and raised by her grandma and grandpa Dugan. Kathy attended Charles City Schools. For many years, Kathy worked at Chautauqua Guest Homes for 30 years and aided in the opening of Riverside Assisted Living. She also worked for public health. Kathy is survived by two daughters: Jackie Walsh and Roxanne Mahan; son, Travis Eggers; sister, Linda (Duane) Kilby; stepsister, Hannelore (Bill) Matthews; 6 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; a niece; two nephews; a great-niece; 3 great-nephews; 2 great-great-nephews; and many close cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents. Memorials may be directed to the family.
