Marcia Ann Wallace, 77 of Belpre, Ohio went home to be with the Lord after a sudden illness at the Marietta Memorial Hospital surrounded by her family. She was born May 25, 1940 in Fremont, Ohio and was the daughter of the late Ted and Margaret Jones. She was a member of the St. Ambrose Catholic Church. She had taught school for 25 years for the Belpre Elementary and Belpre Middle Schools. Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Robert I. Wallace, two sons, Bruce Wallace and Scott Wallace and a daughter, Anne Bullinger. Also surviving is a granddaughter, Elizabeth Bullinger, a cousin raised as her sister, Eileen Clayton and a daughter-in-law, Amy Wallace. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Lloyd Edwards. Services will be on Wednesday at 1:00 PM at the Leavitt Funeral Home, Belpre with Pastor Mark Eaton officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 PM and one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
