<p>Jeffrey E. Bennett, 59, of Davenport, passed away Saturday, March 12, 2022, at Manor Care, Davenport. Per his request the rite of cremation was accorded and a memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at a later date at his favorite fishing spot. </p> <p> </p> <p>Jeffrey Eugene Bennett was born April 5, 1962, in Davenport, a son of James “Jim” and Joanne (Gray) Bennett. </p> <p> </p> <p>He had worked as a flooring installer alongside his father at the former Carpets to Go in Davenport. </p> <p> </p> <p>Jeffrey lived life in his own unconventional way. He loved to be outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and planting flowers. He also liked to build things and woodworking. </p> <p> </p> <p>Those left to honor his memory include his parents Jim Bennett and Joanne Bennett; sister Nancy Reed; brother Bret Bennett all of Davenport; nieces and nephews Adam Reed, Kayla (Jeff) Wiese, Ryne Bennett, Hailey (Zach) Elias, and Jacob Bennett; great nieces and nephews Cora, Devan, Travis, Kylar, Lawson, Rowan, Lila and Adler; and his feline companion “Archie”.</p> <p> </p> <p>He was preceded in death by his grandparents Harrison and Frances Bennett and Bob and Marcella Gray.</p> <p> </p> <p>Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home of Davenport assisted the family.</p>April 5, 1962 - March 12, 202204/05/196203/12/2022
